Three Social Scheduling Services

Another day, another hot new social network. It can be hard keeping up with the Snapchats and Meerkats of the world, let along creating and scheduling content across multiple platforms.

Thankfully easing the headache for the savvy digital marketer are a range of scheduling services. Here are three of our favourites.

1. Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a robust social scheduling service that lets you manage your content across 35 networks including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.

But is also does so much more: there are analytics (courtesy of a recent partnership with Brandwatch), team sharing and a range of apps that gives you a clear overview of your social activity.

2. Buffer

Buffer started out as a fairly basic vehicle to schedule tweets. These days it's evolved into a sophisticated social management tool for individuals, brands and big business.

In addition to one of the best analytics features in the game, Buffer is also a prolific publisher and frequently shares its data-based findings via the Buffer Open blog

Need for convincing? Buffer now offers Pinterest integration.

3. Social Flow

Social Flow takes a different approach to management for brands, publishers and agencies.

In addition to all the expected bells and whistles, the service observes real-time conversations to predict the peak times for publishing content.

Social Flow also analyses social signals to optimise where your marketing dollars are best spent.

It seems to be working with Social Flow counting Mashable, The Economist and National Geographic among its clients.
