Android Excellence is a collection of the best looking and functioning apps out there, as selected by Google Play’s editors.

The collection is broken into two categories: apps and games. These are further divided into sections such as “5 Photo Editing Apps to Make your Pics Pop” and “5 Awesome Racing Games”.

Best in Show

Google says for an app to make the list it must offer an incredible user experience on Android, and boast great design and technical performance. That’s no small order.

Android Excellence will be continually updated, and ideally make it easier for users to find high-quality apps among the 2.8 million or so options out there.
