3 Chrome Extensions to Crank up your Productivity

As the dust settles from the end of financial year, it can be a good time to take stock. Maybe even learn a new trick or two.

So here’s our contribution: three Chrome extensions designed to boost your productivity.

1: Taco

Besides the name, there’s a lot to like about this extension.

Taco is a project management tool that connects all your existing productivity apps into one place.

It pulls data from places like Wunderlist, Evernote, and Basecamp so all your important information is centralised. You can prioritise projects, and also add in personal details such as daily tasks.

Like its namesake, Taco is simple, very good idea.

2: Momentum

Sure there are a bunch of calendar and list-taking apps out there, but if you use Chrome most of the time (like we do), having something in your browser makes sense.

Enter Momentum, which gives you access to widgets including weather, to-do lists, and a shortcut menu.

But what we really like is the fact that Momentum’s interface can be fully customised, plus the striking background images that subtly change over the day.

3: Boomerang

OK Boomerang is technically for Gmail rather than Chrome, but we’re betting if you’re a Chromer, you’re probably a Gmailer too.

Boomerang fills a gaping whole in the otherwise well-serviced world of Gmail – the ability to schedule emails. Which can now be done with a few simple clicks. We can't tell you how much time this has saved us.

Boomerang also lets you track responses, and even features AI to help you compose emails, should you require it.
