New Groups Experience arrives at LinkedIn

LinkedIn is providing users with a new shared space to help build professional connections.

In the wake of user feedback praising the value of having shared spaces to talk with other professionals, LinkedIn has tweaked and reinvigorated the Groups experience.

Available on both the website and app, the new Groups focuses on conversation by adding new features to make professional communities easier to use.

Useful updates include video sharing, messaging from anywhere on the website, and showing when your connections are online.

Better, faster, stronger

Embedded video and more upload options will ideally keep content more engaging, while real-time updates will help users keep a pulse on what’s going on with their own connections.

Admins can now monitor and access members from mobile, making Group management easier. Users can also share their own stories using #LinkedInGroups, which may even be featured by LinkedIn itself.
