Cut and paste

As the name suggests, this free Chrome extension lets you capture and share virtually any sort of content from the web. Whether it's a GIF, image, video, text or screenshot.

Here's how it works. You either log in via Facebook or Twitter, then select the Snip and Share icon when you want to share content.

The extension allows you to either take a screenshot, highlight a certain element (such as a GIF) or share the entire page.

You can also add your own text to content, and share it via Facebook, Twitter or email.
