Understand what your customers want with the pimped-up Microsoft Pulse

Microsoft's polling tool Bing Pulse has been rebranded as Pulse, while becoming more deeply integrated with a suite of other MS products including Skype for Business, OneNote, and Azure Media Services.

The update is good news for brands that regularly take customer polls. Using Pulse, brands can create polls on a web-based interface, that displays audience reactions in real-time.

The integration with other members of the Microsoft family gives a wider range of industries the ability to engage with, and listen to, their customers.

Aside from a new name. Pulse also gets a some new features.

These include the ability to display videos during live events, as well as a souped-up dashboard with more in-depth data and analysis from its polls.

For larger brands, Pulse can be used in conjunction with Skype for Meeting to broadcast to up to 10,000 participants.
