Woolworths has thrown its hat into the crowded online deals market with Door Buster, its own deals website.
Door Buster joins similar offerings from Harvey Norman and established sites such as DealsDirect and Scoopon.
Deal or no deal
Door Buster will feature one-off deals, instant buys and time-limited offers on a broad range of consumer goods and groceries.
Customers can share deals through Facebook and the Twitter page @doorbusterdeals will broadcast special offers.
Bringing home the online bacon
Door Buster reflects the increased focus Woolworths is putting into online sales, which increased 63% for the retailer in 2011.
By offering its own site the Woolworths will be hoping to attract a piece of the lucrative deals market while boosting its bricks and mortar stores.
