Facebook is trialling a new feature that allows users to add stickers to comments.
Stick it
According to The Next Web, Facebook is now allowing users to add stickers when posting comments, similar to the way users can do so in Messenger.
“We are running a test which allows you to add a sticker to a comment on Facebook,” a Facebook spokesperson told The Next Web.
Users can choose from a number of default sticker options, or purchase a sticker pack.
Emoticon
Stickers's aren't new to Facebook – users have long been able to add stickers to private messages.
By making stickers public, Facebook is giving users (and potentially brands) more opportunity to express themselves beyond photos and emoticons.
Which might illicit a big smiley face for some.
