After a fair bit of testing and tweaking, Twitter is now rolling out Recap, a service that summarises the highlights on Twitter since your last visit.
Recollection
Twitter announced the news in a blog post.
Check in
Recap is aimed at coaxing new users and lurkers (users who do not tweet) to participate more actively on Twitter.
The platform explained that heavy users of Twitter will not so exposed to frequently to Recap.
Interestingly, at this stage users don't appear to have input into what type of tweets or content Recap delivers.
