BranchOut’s new look and feel

Facebook application BranchOut has been redesigned to facilitate better user engagement.

BranchOut allows users to create professional profiles by uploading resumes, connecting with people professionally and searching for jobs.

Activity Feed

BranchOut's new activity feed is similar to the Facebook news feed, where users can create or view the latest updates from connections or other industry people being followed.

Discover Page

Discover allows BranchOut users can find the best content and updates selected by the BranchOut editorial team.

Profile

BranchOut now has a timeline, similar to Facebook, where users can create a professional narrative of themselves.

BranchOut vs LinkedIn

BranchOut founder and CEO Rick Marini says that his network allows users to engage at a deeper level.

Connections on BranchOut typically come from someone’s Facebook social graph, meaning users are more likely to know these people in comparison to LinkedIn.

According to Marini, people will be more likely to ask for recommendation, referral or introductions if a stronger relationship already exists between connections.
