Password management app Dashlane has launched a new tool that scans your inbox for potential weak spots.
Is it secure?
Once you give the scanner permission to peep inside your inboxes, Dashlane Inbox Scan locates potential security flaws.
These commonly take the form of plain text emails sitting unsecured in your inbox, which the scanner displays in a visual map.
The scanner then analyses your most commonly used passwords and rates their strength.
It also shows how often the same password is re-used, and if any breaches have been reported.
Health report
Once it's crunched your data the scanner assigns your inbox an overall health score.
To find out more you can access Dashlane's full report – however you'll have to pay for the privilege.
But the scan is free and might prove an early, cheap and easy way to avoid potential security breaches.
To find out more visit dashlane.com.
