Facebook has just released an update that allows user engagement to be easily tracked for Events.
An eventful update
Now Facebook users can access analytics on an Events page using Insights.
This means event hosts can view information such as weekly reach, views and attendee information.
Save the date
The update makes it easier for brands to determine when to amplify an event, depending on how it's trending.
It will also potentially give brands greater insight into what's working when it comes to promoting events.
Events created after July 24 will now have access to the new analytics, which appears in the sidebar on the Event page.
