While it's fine to rely on solid content and social strategy to boost your engagement, sometimes good old fashioned cash can be the easiest option.

Running with this thinking is Klink, which is paying cash to users who attract lots of engagement.

Klink is a photo-based social platform that is serious about getting comments and engagements from its users. 

So much so that established photographers can now earn (a little bit) of money if their photos go viral. 

For every 1000 views your photos or videos receive, Klink will cough up US$2.00.

To up your chances, you can make a US$0.99 purchase from Klink's app so it appears on the 'Featured' feed, upping the odds of it attracting eyeballs – although cutting the profit of your first 1000 views by half. 

Cash for comment?

Klink's approach isn't entirely magnanimous. The platform pays itself through banner ads, native ads and in-app purchases. 

While it might not be for everyone, users with big followers might find a new alternate source of pocket money clicking on to Klink.
