Google has just released a major (some would say majorly overdue) update to Contacts.
Keep track
Google announced the news in a blog post.
"The new Google Contacts comes with a fresh look and feel, and conveniently pools together all your contacts, circles, and the people you talk to most in Gmail," wrote Google Product Manager Sean Purcell.
Little Black Book
The update includes a range of sensible features, including the ability to locate and delete duplicate contacts.
It also keeps you updated when your contacts changes cities or jobs.
Finger on the pulse
You can now view all the recent meetings and emails you've exchanged with your contacts, making it easier to pick up where you left off.
The update is rolling out over the coming weeks, although is not yet available for Google Apps customers.
