Google appears to be turning its gaze towards the recruiting space with a new service called Hire.
Job well done
While Hire's website is pretty threadbare, it's speculated Hire will allow employers post job listings and accept applications. Tech companies including Medisas and Poynt are currently testing a beta version of Hire.
You searched for what??
However what's got people talking is the possibility that Hire may be linked to your Google profile.
This has led to concerns that prospective employeer could access troves of personal information including your search history and YouTube preferences.
However if job applicants aren't keen to share their favourite Keyboard Cat video, there's plenty of recruitment tools to choose, including a recent update from Facebook.
Would you use Google to hire? If so let us know in the comments.
