Organising and monitoring social media activity will soon become easier with the announcement that marketing blog Hubspot and media management platform Hootsuite will join forces.
Closing the loop
The collaboration, according to Hubspot, will see marketing using social media come full circle and “close the loop”, from generating and managing leads to closing sales.
As part of the partnership Hubspot will be integrating its content with the Hootsuite platform to help streamline social media activity, as well as conducting webinars and releasing e-books.
Key terms and conversations
Hubspot has said the new platform will assist brands in monitoring social media sites like Twitter for key terms, which can identify opportunities to join conversations and connect with consumers.
For example, brands will now be able to create streams in Hootsuite dedicated to their Hubspot contacts and monitors Hubspot keywords.
Keeping it personal
This new partnership potentially gives brands a new way of generating targeted business leads, by being able to connect with users in specific interest groups and demographics.
By streamlining the huge amounts of information on consumers and their interests, the Hubpost and Hootsuite alliance may make it easier for brands to reach the consumers they want.
This new platform will be available to all Hootsuite members from July.
