If images aren't doing enough for you, Instagram's latest feature might just be the ticket.
The Facebook-owned app is adding video channels to the Explore Tab, continuing their embrace of moving pictures.
On a silver platter
The most prominent channel will be Videos You Might Like, which uses an algorithm to present a personalised collection of videos from the Instagram community, based on your Liked photos and videos.
Only the best
Instagram teamed up with the music festival Coachella for the first featured channel since the 7.20 app update, with behind-the-scenes videos from performers and videos from punters.
Featured channels will not be limited to festivals or events, however, as Instagram has flagged comedy as one topic users might find in Explore.
Instagram's latest feature comes on the back of the March news that video lengths would be increased from 15 to 60 seconds, as the platform further endears itself to creative brands that can take advantage of the popular platform.
Video channels are currently rolling out to US users, but Instagram says it's working to extend the feature globally.
