LinkedIn has released an update that gives Company Page administrators greater insight into the performance of brand pages.
Looking deeper
LinkedIn announced the news in a slide show and explained the update, which resembles Google Analytics, will boost engagement. Here's a wrap up of the top three features.
Engagement
Company Page admins can now measure engagement using the simple formula Interactions + Clicks + Followers Acquired.
This allows admins to more accurately measure what type of content is working.
Demographics
LinkedIn now displays greater demographic data about your followers, from position to company size.
This will assist in creating Targeted Status Updates.
Compare
You can now see how your Company Page fares against your competitors.
Aside from encouraging a bit of healthy competitive spirit, this feature will help you see other types of content that might work for your Company Page.
All systems go
LinkedIn is now the social platform of choice for large Australian businesses, and this latest update will give Company Page admins a better way to link in with all those other professionals and future customers out there.
