LinkedIn has released a sleek new look for its Profile pages, including features designed to encourage the platform's 175 million users to spend more time on the site.
Profile push
LinkedIn announced the update on its blog, where it wrote that the new Profile pages will make it easier for users to tell their professional stories, discover opportunities and build relationships.
Introduction

Users can also access inline editing to more easily complete and update their profile.
Discover
Profile pages now lets users see more in-depth visuals on the people and companies in their network.
“These insights also make it simpler to discover people outside your network and quickly establish common ground to make more meaningful connections,” explained LinkedIn.
Engage
Recent activity now appears towards the top of Profile pages, making it easier for users to see the content their connections are sharing.
Linking in
The Profile pages refresh is part of LinkedIn's continuing push to get users to engage on a daily basis, not just when they're looking for work.
The new Profiles will be available to all users over the coming months, however those wanting to try the new features now can sign up at here.
