Out of home media agency, oOh! Media has engaged Chris Noth (Mr Big of Sex and the City) in a new campaign targeting advertising agency representatives.
Competition
Entrants are encouraged to capture a ‘big’ moment whilst displaying an oOh! banner.
Demographic
The competition is open to employees and contractors of Australian advertising agencies (in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland). Winners need to be able to travel in May 2012.
As no one can enter without the banner, they effectively act as invitations to the competition, providing a way to target key stakeholders.
Prize
Seven entrants will be selected to take a friend to New York. The prize includes return flights to New York, three nights accommodation and the opportunity to have dinner with Noth.
Freebies
Freebies are also awarded for entries, including Sex and the City movie packs, and pizza for entrants’ agencies.
YouTube
Noth presents an introduction to the competition, together with some key figures on oOh! billboards, in the Win BIG in NY with oOh! YouTube video.
Two parts
Entrants will also need to answer a ‘Big’ riddle, which is yet to be revealed.
The competition is run on Facebook, through a contest app where users can vote for images. Votes can then posted to the voter’s status updates.
oOh! posts details of freebies on the Facebook wall.
Press
The competition has been featured in several Australian trade publications.
