Pinterest: 100 Trends for 2018

Just in case you're wondering what's in store this year, Pinterest has your back.

The platform full of pretty things has released its definitive list of 100 trends to look for in 2018. Are you on point?

Funky Food

Pinterest pulled data from its most popular global categories to come up with the list. 

Top of the charts: diet-friendly frying. Apparently it's a thing. Health junkies have developed a method of "air-frying", which replaces oil. Who knew?

Other food trends include souping, super coffee, and spices from North Africa.

Catwalk Craze

In the world of fashion, Pinterest reckons mixing brand iconography with high-end fashion is making a comeback.

If that's not your bag, larger-than-life earrings are en route, as well as berets, plastic leathers, and good old blue jeans.

For men, clean-cut beards, big jackets, and monochrome dressing is tres hip.

Child's Play

Parents in Pinterest, expect to see more toys from trees, modern-style nurseries, yarn, and a new wave of apps helping you track every moment of your tiny tot.

In the home, resort-chic is so hot right now, as well as metallics and terrazzo – the Italian flooring technique that was popular in the 1970s.

Proving everything old is new again.
