While cloud storage has made life easier in many ways, those digital skies can get stormy from time to time.
Helping make your cloud journey smooth sailing is a new app called Cubes.
Don’t be a square
Cubes is designed to organise all the documents, images, PDFs, and whatever else you’ve got floating up there across your cloud services.
Once downloaded, you can add all the cloud services you’re signed up to, including Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud and Google Docs.
You can also add social accounts from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Get sorted
Cubes then gets to work organising your cloud-based content into sensible lists and titles.
It does this by vacuuming up all your content and arranging them by type and content. For example, photos get bunched together, as does work documents.
This saves having to add meta tags. You can also filter content that’s been shared with a specific client or contact.
Clean up
Once it’s all sorted Cubes presents you content from each cloud based service.
You might be surprised by all the stuff you’ve saved up there, and it can be a good excuse to do some digital spring cleaning and consolidation.
Cubes is now available on iOS, with an Android version expectedly in the coming months.
