We've known Snapchat was popular with the kids (and increasingly, the oldies) for some time now, but the latest stats reveal just how hot the ephemeral messaging service is.
Oh Snap
An infographic from GlobalWebIndex reveals that around half of 16 – 24 year olds in the US, UK and Canada are now on Snapchat.
Breaking it down, 51% of UK and Canadian millennials are on the platform, closely followed by the US and Australia at 47%.
Young guns
The impressive figures come hot on the heels of a stellar year for Snapchat.
The platform is now valued at over US$20 billion by some pundits, and continues to roll out new products (such as Memories) at a cracking pace.
Marketers, make hay while the social sun is shining.
