Track Maven analysed 17.5 million social posts by over 17,000 brands to come up with its secret sauce.
And the results vary greatly.
It turns out the best time to post on Facebook is 8pm on Thursday, while for Twitter 5pm on the same day is prime position.
Mix it up
The early bird catches the worm at LinkedIn, whose members are most receptive at 9am on Wednesdays.
Instagrammers and Pinners like to chill out at the end of the week, but at different times of day.
Instagram posts are most popular at 7pm on Fridays. while Pinterest perks up at 1am on the final day of the working week.
