This week’s tweather round-up

Bullying takes the forefront in today's tweather forecast – with National Bullying day bringing attention to the issue, and local writer Fiona Scott-Norman's book, Don't Peak at High School getting a few mentions.

Nikelodeon is trending due to offering pop band One Direction a TV show. It seems every Friday we're talking about this band so it's unsurprising the discussion now revolves around whether the 2-year-old band (the age of the band, not the members, although they are also quite young) is being pushed too far. ‘Fainting’ is also trending in Sydney as a fan passed out when One Direction member, Zayn, held her hand.

Jim Schembri announced his resignation from The Age today on Twitter, after a brouhaha involving critic Schembri contacting the employers of people who tweeted criticism about him. Touche.

Finally, the iPad3 has landed and ‘queue’ is trending due the line up of people keen to get their hands on one.
