Three tools to make your photos shine online

Everyone knows photos are one of the most popular types of content on social, but are you getting the most out of your online pics?

Anyone can add a filter or tag, but today we're looking at three free tools that will take your social snaps to the next level.

1. Snapseed

Snapseed is a great all-rounder app that fills in the blanks left by Instagram. Two of the best features are tilt shift and red-eye reduction, while an easy to use interface means anyone can edit in a snap.

Snapseed also allows your mini masterpieces to be easily shared through the major social platforms.

2. Aviary

Aviary was recently acquired by Adobe and is great for resizing and re-cropping your pics – something Instagram currently falls short on.

Aviary also offers colour correction and has 16 editing tools to choose from. If that's not enough, there are pro-tools available for purchase.

3. Quick

Quick is a very clever app that allows you to add text to your Instagram images.

This is an excellent way to enhance photos and add branded content such as hashtags. Or simply convey a fun message to your customers.
