Snapchat might be know for its ephemeral messaging feature, but video is becoming kind of a big deal on the app.
Visionary?
Snapchat video started to get big around May 2015, when daily views were a respectably 4 billion.
Now Snapchatter are sharing and viewing a massive 10 billion videos per day.

That marks a 150% rise in under one year.
For comparison, Facebook currently attracts 8 billion video views every day.
Data dig
However, it’s important to note that Snapchat’s definition of video is a little looser than Facebook’s.
For example, Snapchat videos are limited to 10 seconds in length. This means users can quickly created multiple videos in succession.
Facebook videos tend to be longer, and reach far wider audiences.
Still, 10 billion isn’t a figure to be sniffed at.
Expect to see more Snapchatting video action before the year’s out.
