The next step in Facebook's video revolution is filters. They'll be live – and smart.
Already growing, the world's biggest social network expects video to make up 70% of all internet traffic in the coming years.
WIth that the company used a Wall Street Journal event to show off what chief product officer Chris Cox called a "style transfer".
While it's not yet known where the feature will appear, it applies a filter in the style of famous painters such as Monet or Vincent van Gogh.
The filters produce similar results in popular app Prisma, which applies the look a few seconds after filming.
Facebook boasts its filters will be shown as users record footage – that might be a game-changer for the company's billion plus users.
