Messaging apps have been all the rage for some time now, and as the market gets tighter developers are getting more innovative.
The latest case in point: Taptalk.
Tap in
This iOS and Android app isn't aimed at plumbing enthusiasts, rather it's offering a novel take on photo and video messaging.
Once downloaded, you connect to your friend via Facebook. The app then lets you take a picture by tapping a photo of your friend.
You can also press down on the photo to begin recording a video with the front-facing camera. And type a message to round things off.
Taptalk also sends a map of your location along with any missives.
Connect the dots
In a nod to our transient times, once viewed photos and videos can no longer be accessed.
And users must take a new photo or video to use the app – existing images or videos cannot be sent.
If you'd like to try a new take on messaging you can find out more at taptalk.me.
