How to kick goals on Instagram

Instagram is one of the favourite platforms among marketers for a reason. Not only is it somewhat addictive, unlike Facebook content can still (for now at least) easily reach fans for free.

With this in mind we're looking at three ways to get more out of your Instagram account today.

1. Hashtags

The days when hashtags were the realm of Twitter are long gone. These days Instagram rivals the micro-blogging platform when it comes to popularity of the ubiquitous symbol.

While finding the right number of hashtags depends on your brand and message, we suggest keeping it simple, relevant and not heavily branded.

2. Blog and learn

The Instagram for Business blog is a great place for marketers to get gossip directly from the horse's mouth.

The blog features a range of great content including juicy stats, case studies, and plenty of tips and tricks.

3. Analytics

There's no point Instagramming without knowing what works. Happily there are a range of (mostly) free tools to help you make sense of your Instagram stats.
