Ever wondered what the highest paying jobs in Australia are right now?
Look no further than the clever clogs from Seek’s Insights and Resources division.
If you build it, they will pay
Seek’s data geeks have put together an infographic showing which jobs are wearing the current cash crown.
In number one stop: Architect. The average architect commands a salary of $137,707, and enjoys 2% annual growth.
The next three spots are all occupied by Management positions, respectively in the Engineering, Mining, and IT industries.
The venerable GP comes in at fifth position, attracting a healthy average salary of $129,635.
Industry leaders
Seek also revealed the top five highest paying industries are Mining, Consulting and Strategy, Construction, Engineering, and IT.
While the fastest growing salaries belong to employees in Local Government, Materials Sciences, and Pathology.
And just in case you were wondering – the average Aussie salary is now $81,232.
