Visual marketing platform Chute has launched a new product aimed leveraging user-content to make e-commerce more engaging.
Don't Chute the messenger
Chute Commerce lets brands and retailers post and curate user-generated content, such as photos and videos, next to their own merchandise images.
For example a fashion retailer might post images of a customer wearing one of their garments, next to information on where to purchase this item.
This content can then be shared (and tracked) across social media platforms.
Measurement and more
Chute Commerce also provides an analytics dashboard that includes information such as when viewing an image leads to conversion.
Another interesting feature is the workflow creation tool. This gives companies more flexibility when curating their content – so you can set up Chute Commerce to pull in certain types of media based on hashtags, dates and user types.
Visualise this
Chute’s new offering comes as e-commerce becomes more image-dependent and platforms like Pinterest move to monetise.
By giving retailers a new way to leverage social and our growing appetite for glossy pictures, Chute Commerce may offer a new way to stand a little taller from the crowd.
