Facebook is testing a new way to show multiple products in the News Feed.
More the merrier
According to Adweek, in preparation for the holiday period Facebook is trialling a new ad unit that lets retailers display more than one product.
So the primary ad will feature related products images underneath. Clicking on these will lead to a second page of products. Click again and you'll be taken directly to the retalier's website, where products can be purchased.
Test bed
US retailers Michael Kors and Lowes are already using the new ad, with a wider roll out yet to be confirmed.
If it goes ahead, this new ad unit could help retailers get more bang from their buck ahead of the holiday rush, and go some way to streamlining the increasingly crowded News Feed.
