In its constant quest to make content and ads more targeted, Facebook now wants to make the news feed customised.

Select mobile Facebookers are now able to separate their news feed into categories including TV and movies, food, travel, and music.
Feeds can be further tweaked by adding sub-genres to these categories. For example, Air Travel and Backpacking can be added to the Travel category.
Sweet spot?
After selecting your categories, the news feed will begin populating content with relevant tags.
While customisable feeds are still being trialled, it re-enforces Facebook's need to keep the increasingly cluttered news feed relevant – both for users and advertisers.
