Facebook has just launched new mobile ad units designed to boost in-store sales.
Walk in
Dynamic Ads for Retail lets retailers display products available in locations that are closest to the user viewing the ad.
For example, if a nationwide fashion retailer is having a sale, the ads will only display nearby items in stock.
Ads can also be optimised, based on users' online and mobile shopping behaviour.
Local love
Dynamic Ads for Retail are an update on the ad units Facebook rolled out for retailers in June.
Since then, Facebook says one million shop visits are occurring in 100,000 locations every day, for retailers using the service.
Dynamic Ads for Retail are currently being tested with partners including Abercrombie & Fitch, Macy's, and Target. A wider roll out is expected in October.
