Google Drive hits 1 Billion Users

Google is all smiles as its number one cloud service hit impressive new numbers with 2 billion users – and half of them are using Google Drive.

Launching back in 2012, Google Drive has steadily risen in popularity, and now Drive, Team Drives, and Drive File Stream are the premiere file storage services.

Android, Chrome, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Play, and YouTube also all contribute to an impressive two billion milestone of its own.

Google knows what the users want, and it's Drive’s appeal to both professional and personal spaces that gives these IPs such great reach.

Last but not least, Google has launched its new Drive-esque backup and syncing tool for PC and Mac. So expect those impressive stats to keep climbing.
