Size doesn't always matter, but it can make a world of difference on mobile.
This modern conundrum is something Google is looking to solve with a handy new update.
More room to move
Now when select users visit the Google Play store and download large apps, the store now provides you with a list of you least used apps – and politlely suggests you might want to delete them.
Apps are listed in terms of size, in case you have trouble deciding which ones to send into oblivion.
Out with the old
While the update could assist mobile users who are close to clogging up their device, storage is often taken up with media files such as videos.
Perhaps something holistic will be built into the Play store functionality if the feature gets a wider roll out.
Until then, if your phone's a bit sluggish you might want to record how many HD movies files you've got stashed away.
