Marketing technology company Silverpop has anounced a new feature called Email Insights that helps customer tailor emails based on the device they are delivered to.
Letterbox
Before a campaign is sent, Email Insights displays how your email will look in up to 30 email clients, including Gmail and Outlook, across a variety of devices.
Previously, marketers would have to send emails to multiple devices to see how they displayed.
Measurement
Once a campaign is sent, Email Insights provides analytics about engagement and open rates across these devices and clients. Marketers can use this data to tweak future campaigns.
For example, brands could customise a promotional campaign to iPhone customers by including a link to the Apple iTunes store, while Android users would receive a link to the Google Play shop.
Post haste
By cutting down on testing time and offering marketers more control over their message, Email Insights may prove an easy way to boost email engagement levels.
