Users need no longer dig deep into third-party apps and technical workarounds to reshare other people’s content, now Instagram will allow a feature called ‘regram’.
All about them ‘grams
While reposting is nothing new (Twitter allows retweets, Facebook allows sharing), but until now Instagram has only offered…well nothing.
The Native Share Feature will arrive in the coming weeks, and will be launching along with a new “Share Feed” for Instagram.
Regram the now
The feed will appear in the top right of a post, with the original content being included unobtrusively within the regram. It works much like Twitter’s retweets.
Though long in the making, Instagram has always known that resharing was a priority for users. Now users can breath easy knowing their “native sharing” is well underway.
Have you been waiting for the ability to repost in-app on Instagram? Have you had to use workarounds in the past? We want to know what you think in our comments below.
