Facebook and L’Oreal are working on a new filter that will let users 'wear' make up before they buy.

In what is essentially make up samples through augmented reality, L’Oreal is leading the charge in allowing consumers to not just visualise but actually see makeup results in real-time.
L’Oreal says it's partnering with other beauty-line heavy hitters Lancome, NYX, Urban Decay, and Yves Saint Laurent in the new marketing push.
The move isn’t surprising, seeing as how L’Oreal acquired Canadian AI and AR tech firm ModiFace just last March.

What the new tech wing of L’Oreal consists of is software that transforms the face of consumers into a 3D image in real-time.
Rumour is that L’Oreal is in talks with other potential partners though nothing has surfaced just yet, but with the popularity of selfie Snapchat culture, this seems an easy win.
