Marketers are now able to gather analytics data for Snapchat, thanks to a Danish startup.
World-first SaaS analytics for Snapchat
The Copenhagen-based group called Snaplytics, says its new analytics service for Snapchat’s videos and photos is “the only software-as-a-service analytics (exclusively) for Snapchat.”
The startup uses a proprietary system that avoids Snapchat APIs to monitor activity on public, one-to-many communications.
Understand your competitors
Snaplytics says the tool’s strength lies in providing marketers with data on not only their stories but those of their competitors.
The dashboard allows you to view open rates, views, the average number of screen shots taken for each Snapchat story, the number of followers for each company, completion rate, open rate and information on how followers learned about a particular Snapchat account.
No more heavy lifting
As most marketers are aware, gathering Snapchat data is a tedious, time-consuming process. The process involves collating screenshots of story stats that are only available within Snapchat for 24 hours.
Snaplytics says its platform removes most of that manual effort required and obtains data on how many users looked at a Snapchat story, and for how long.
The new platform is available to all Snaplytics customers.
