Today we're looking at the spiffy new automation features now available on MailChimp.
Mail by Numbers
MailChimps Automation workflow now features a swag of new categories including Nonprofit, Education, Software, Music, and Transactional.
MailChimp says this will make it easier to serve your different audiences with their requirements.
For example, the Nonprofit workflow covers welcoming new volunteers and acknowledging donors. The Education workflow covers sending lessons and new course offerings.
Emails
The other big update comes with email editing. Previously, the scheduling, segmenting, and post-sending actions were completed in the Email Designer.
Now these actions can be access in pop-up boxed overlaid directly on your email template, making a more streamlined process.
Trigger event
Finally, MailChimp now allows you to create unique triggers for your workflows, as well as the ability to drag and drop emails within your workflow.
Hopefully all adding to a more streamlined emailing experience.
