Microsoft has just released Social Share, a new service that lets users repost PowerPoint presentations on social networks.
Sharing is caring
Social Share has been developed by Microsoft Garage, an initiative that encourages Microsoft employees to trial experimental projects.
The free plugin for PowerPoint lets you share slides on Facebook and Twitter as either a photo album or video.
You've also got the option to package the entire presentation as a video, which keeps all your transitions and animations intact.
Slide on over
All presentations can be uploaded to OneDrive and shared via email. There's also a decent analytics offering, with Slide Share allowing you to track your presentation's social engagement directly from PowerPoint.
Aside from power users of PowerPoint, Slide Share might also allow publishers to share presentations for best-practice advice and expert opions.
