Users are increasingly referring to their mobiles to research and purchase products.
Over 80% of shoppers use a smartphone to shop, while brands such as Target are sweetening the deal by luring nearby users with the promise of discounts and free items.
Over 70% of mobile retail searches lead to purchases with one hour.
Search maps
How are users looking for information on their mobiles? Almost half (48%) start on search engines, while 33% use branded websites as their launch points.
Just over a quarter (26%) use branded apps.
Videos
Videos continue to be a favourite with mobile viewers.
Video now accouns for 50% of mobile traffic, while over half of mobile users have shared branded videos.
