Pinterest brings Chat to the table

In a new update, Pinterest has added an activity feed intended for group boards, acting as a streaming timeline of recent business, such as likes, comments, and pinned items..

Group Planning

It’s the new comments update that will prove the most useful as users can now see when others are responding in real-time.

Comments need no longer be attached to specific pins, in turn creating a space for open discussion and more fluid conversation.

New Activity Feed

Users can simply leave a comment in the Activity Feed to start a new chat thread, which will bring more buzz and chatter to the Pinterest boards.

The launch of the new feature brings Pinterest into a more active role of planning, instead of just generating ideas.

Along with new sorting options and a nearly algorithm-free board, Pinterest has been changing people’s perspective of pins for research only. It's almost a creative renaissance.
