ShareIQ, a German start-up, is promising better tracking of brands' images as they spread across social media and the web. If what it says is true, brands could get real value out of the service.
Brand new tracking
ShareIQ is designed to answer questions like: ‘I see that a consumer has posted my content on Pinterest—but what journey did it take to get there?’. It pinpoints, the creators claim, the ‘moments of discovery that brands strive for.’
Of course, that is only useful if the information is actionable. So, ShareIQ promises a unified platform that generates detailed reports about how and where a brand’s images appear on online channels.
Reporting
The ShareIQ interface shows engagement, audience and influencer stats, with trends and totals for each channel. It also shows which individual images are being most effective, which publishers are best pushing content, and which competitors are keeping you down.
Importantly, ShareIQ also claims the capability to build custom audiences based on the collected data. It has segmentation and targeting tools that could assist the optimisation of future campaigns.
