Ever been on your way to a meeting and a crucial document has just landed in your inbox?
Never fear, file sharing app Box is here.
Out of the Box
Box is the established iOS and Android app that allows you to synch and share pretty much any type of file you can imagine including documents, PDFs, photos, videos and music.
Box also integrates with Google Apps so you can create and share Google documents and spreadsheets directly from the app.
Box is also compatible with major apps including the Salesforce CRM and Netsuite.
Stay on target
Box also allows you to assign tasks and timelines for your files, while a real-time activity feed helps you keep track of what's happening.
You can also tag important files so they're more easily accessible.
Collaborate and listen
What impressed us most about Box was the ability to add comments to your files in real time.
This could be handy when running a document past a team, with every user being able to add their own feedback.
We also like the way Box allows you to track file versions, in case there's something in a previous edit you need to access.
