They say a photo says 1000 words – but unfortunately most photos won't last 1000 years.
But now you can keep the memories alive and kicking with Heirloom.
Snap happy
Heirloom is a new app that lets users take pictures of their physical photos and automatically upload them into a private social network.
The app automatically finds the edges of your picture, corrects distortion and even adds a bit of colour correction should you so desire.
Once uploaded the pictures can then be shared with friends and family.
Picture perfect
If Heirloom can provide an easy way for users to preserve their memories (and not have to struggle with temperamental scanners) it's got our tick of approval.
Heirloom is now available on iOS and Android.
