Developed by a team of psychologists, Smiling Mind is an Australian app that wants to introduce easy meditation techniques into everyday life.

Based on the principals of Mindfulness Meditation, the app helps users create regular practices to help combat stress, improve focus and generally feel better all round.

Smiling Mind isn't just aimed at professionals. Indeed it has programs aimed at users aged from seven years old to adults.

Once you enter your age simply tell Smiling Mind what you want to achieve (relaxation, de-stress) and how long you've got to meditate.

Smiling Mind will then curate a course to best suit your needs and schedule.

You can also set up the app to remind you to tune out at certain times of the day, or when you're in a specific location.
