You might have everything in place on your Facebook Page – an active community, a good mix of content and regular updates.
But can you do anything more to take your Facebook Page to the next level (without paying for advertising?)
While there's no magic bullet for Facebook success, a new report sheds some light into the best times to post on the social network.
Time and place
A recent article on The Huffington Post, citing stats from Buffer, revealed Thursdays and Fridays are the best times to post on Facebook, where average engagement rates are 18 per cent higher.
The speculated reason? As the week winds to an end users are more interested in social networks and increasingly less focused on work.
Weekend warriors
Taking this thought further, Buffer found that engagement rates for B2C posts rose a massive 32 per cent on average over weekends, peaking on Saturday.
Time of day
Depending of what you're after depends on what time of day you choose to post.
Some figures show 1pm is the best time to get most shares, while 3pm seems to be the optimal time for generating the most clicks.
Overall, early afternoon seems the safest bet when it come to posting, while anything between 7pm – 6am sees the lowest engagement.
Takeaways
Of course the optimal time to post is unique to every brand and you should look at your Facebook Page analytics to see what works best for you.
But the Buffer findings might help get you started on the path to Facebook engagement excellence.
